Durant les guerres de religion, en septembre 1585, la Reine Margot et son amant, recherch\u00e9s par les arm\u00e9es du Roi de France se r\u00e9fugi\u00e8rent au ch\u00e2teau. Accueillis par le Seigneur des lieux, celui-ci les h\u00e9bergea.<br \/>\nApr\u00e8s leur d\u00e9part, la chambre fut mur\u00e9e et ce n\u2019est qu\u2019en 1990 qu\u2019elle fut par hasard d\u00e9couverte avec tout son mobilier.<\/p>\n<p>En juin 1622, Louis XIII fit \u00e9tape au ch\u00e2teau avant de livrer bataille contre les protestants.<br \/>\nAujourd\u2019hui, ouvert au public, le ch\u00e2teau vous retrace cette fresque historique dans des pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9cor\u00e9es d\u2019un mobilier du XVIe et du XVIIe si\u00e8cle.<br \/>\nVous y suivrez pas \u00e0 pas la Reine Margot built on a French\/Roman tumulus at the end of the 13th century. During the Hundred Years&rsquo; War, the castle was often attacked by the army of the Black Prince, but, thanks to its excellent fortifications, it withstood all attacks. After the defeat at the Battle of Crecy, however, the castle fell into the hands of the Black Prince. There is a legend according to which his treasure was buried somewhere on the castle grounds.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>During the religious wars, Queen Margot, wife of king Henry IV, left Paris, accompanied by her two lovers, and travelled to the Castle of Saint-Projet where she was welcomed by the lord of the estate.
